It's 6pm, you've had a long day at work and you are ready to let loose. What better way to celebrate the end of a stressful work- day than to grab a drink or two with a few co-workers or friends? After a long day, cooped up inside an office, who wants to sit inside? Keep in mind you'll have to order a bite to eat to accompany whatever it is you're sipping on since city law doesn't allow for bars and restaurants to serve liquor on their patios without also serving food. Here's a list of a few of BIRE favorite spots to unwind outdoors and, if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the sunset.
RTP at the Colonnade Hotel- For a brief escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, try the RTP Bacardi Mojito for a little taste of the tropics after work.
Legal Harborside- The third floor offers a wine bar cocktail lounge atmosphere with some of the best views of Boston's skyline and harbor.
Splash Ultra Lounge- Enjoy partying throughout the day as well as the night? Splash offers its Recess party every Saturday between 3 pm and 7pm.
Atlantic Beer Garden- For a mix of sunshine and sea breeze, head over to the waterfront Atlantic Beer Garden. Can't seem to find your favorite brew on their extensive beer list? You can always submit a beer suggestion.
Whiskey Priest- Head over to this waterfront pub for a taste of Boston's Irish heritage where they offer over 100 different types of whiskeys well as an expansive beer list.
Rattlesnake Bar- Order a drink or grab a bite to eat at this Boylston street hotspot. They serve food until 1am every night. Just keep that in mind.
Ristorante Fiore- A visit to this North End roof deck could make you forget you're in Boston and have you feeling like you're sitting
at a cafe in Italy. Pair one of their numerous original cocktails with some of the best Italian food Boston has to offer.
Market- Right outside of Faneuil Hall, offering some pretty reasonably priced drinks compared to most places in Boston, head on up to the rooftop to end your day or begin your night.
The Landing- Make your way to The Landing, for a place to enjoy a refreshing cocktail right on the Boston Harbor.
The Terrace at Avenue One- Perhaps a bit quieter than most of the places aforementioned, go to The Terrace to chat with friends over some tasty bar food.
